Emond Publishing, one of Canada's leading educational and legal publishers, is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to develop and execute digital marketing strategies to enhance the growth of our business. This involves leveraging website marketing tools, developing PPC digital advertising campaigns, and regularly reviewing campaign performance analytics to assess their effectiveness and optimize accordingly. Duties and Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing (30%)
- Develop, execute and manage digital strategies and marketing campaigns including Meta ads, LinkedIn ads, Google ads, SEO, SEM, display, social, and cross-media advertising.
- Oversee the entirety of the digital user experience, ensuring products, landing pages, content, and promotions are added to the website as required.
- Seek opportunities to increase engagement and conversion rates with improved website content and design. Use methodical A/B testing to test and validate ideas.
- Website Management (30%)
- Learn the Kentico CMS platform, including how to leverage the content editing and marketing tools available through it.
- Develop and optimize website marketing funnels, automation processes, segmentation tools, and personalized content with the goal of delivering an exceptional user experience.
- Configure and manage GA4 and Google Tag Manager to facilitate accurate tracking of website metrics, goals, and conversions.
- Collaborate with our IT Manager and website vendor to resolve issues and enhance website functionalities.
- Analytics and Reporting (20%)
- Monitor Google Analytics and prepare quarterly marketing reports that summarize the performance of our website, ad placements, marketing initiatives, email campaigns, and social campaigns. Develop suggestions for how we can adapt and optimize based on the data.
- Regularly review Hotjar user journeys, customer satisfaction survey feedback, and website analytics to identify opportunities to improve the user journey.
- Collaboration and Coaching (20%)
- Review collateral prepared by the Creative Coordinator, Marketing Communications Coordinator, and Junior Marketing Coordinator, providing guidance and feedback as required.
- Liaise with other team members and departments to brainstorm, develop, and implement digital marketing strategies.

- Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- 4+ years' experience working in digital marketing
- Demonstrated experience managing various aspects of a website, including content, ecommerce, design, multivariate testing, and marketing funnels/automation (preference given to candidates with experience working with Kentico CMS)
- In-depth knowledge of website analytics tools, including Google Analytics (preferably GA4) and Google Tag Manager
- Expertise in creating and managing digital advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn ads, etc.
- Experience examining and assessing performance metrics, increasing conversion rates through data-driven testing, and optimizing SEO
- Experience collaborating with a team of 2 or more team members
Commitment and Compensation
- Job type: Full-time, permanent
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
- Location: Hybrid, with the option to work remotely and/or in the office as desired (office located at Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto)
