Alison Braley-Rattai
Alison Braley-Rattai is an assistant professor in the Department of Labour Studies at Brock University in the beautiful Niagara region, where she lives with her family. She received her BA (Hons.) and MA in political science from York University and her PhD from Western University, where she specialized in political theory. Professor Braley-Rattai is a graduate of Osgoode Hall’s Professional Development Program, from which she received her LLM, specializing in labour and employment law and industrial relations. She is an award-winning teacher and researcher who also serves the Brock University Faculty Association in various capacities, including most recently as its grievance officer. She is a trained actor and singer who regularly performs in musical theatre in the Niagara region.
