Ana Rasmusson
Ana Rasmusson earned a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours from Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham Law School, in England. Ana is the founder of Rasmusson & Associates, an immigration consulting firm based in Toronto. She has many years of experience advising and representing clients worldwide with respect to Canadian immigration matters.
In addition to her legal practice, Ana has taught Immigration and Refugee Law at various colleges, including Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology and CSIC e-Academy. Ana has experience developing courses and writes extensively about immigration issues. She is the author of the Immigration and Refugee Law course offered by Sheridan College as part of their Paralegal Program and she is also the author of the online Family Class course offered by CSIC e-Academy.
She was a contributor to the first and second edition of the textbook Canadian Immigration and Refugee Law for Legal Professionals published by Emond Montgomery Publications.
Throughout her career, Ana has been active with community organizations. She served as the director of the education committee for the Latin-American Association of Certified Canadian Immigration Consultants (ALCAI). Additionally, she served on the board of directors for Hon. Bryon Wilfert, Member of Parliament for two consecutive terms.
Ana has been interviewed by RCI Radio Canada International, El Correo Canadiense, the Toronto Star, and TV Azteca regarding issues pertaining to Canadian Immigration law.
