Andrew K. Lokan

Andrew Lokan (B.A., M.A., LL.B., LL.M.) is a partner at Paliare Roland Barristers, practicing in the areas of constitutional law, appellate advocacy, administrative law, labour and employment law, and pension litigation. Listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of administrative and public law, and in LawDay’s Leading Lawyers in the areas of Charter, constitutional, and administrative law, Andrew has published widely on subjects relating to public law, and is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences. Andrew teaches constitutional litigation at Osgoode Hall Law School, and has also taught at the University of Ottawa and Monash University. Andrew has clerked for Justice (now Chief Justice) McLachlin of the SCC, and has acted as Special Counsel to the Canadian Civil Liberties Association. He is an executive member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Constitutional, Civil Liberties, and Human Rights Section.
