Ashlyn O'Mara
Ashlyn O’Mara, BA, LLB, BCL, was a full-time professor in the School of Legal, Public and Office Administration at Seneca College for many years, where she taught a variety of subjects, including Legal Drafting and Communication, Advocacy, Tribunal Practice and Procedure, and Computer Applications for Paralegals. Ashlyn also coached Seneca’s Paralegal Moot Team, helping paralegal students prepare for various mooting competitions each year. For several years, Ashlyn worked as a practising lawyer in the areas of family law, estate planning and administration, estate litigation, and real estate law. She is a graduate of McGill University’s Faculty of Law, having obtained degrees in both civil law and common law. Ashlyn is the author of Advocacy for Paralegals and Communication and Writing for Paralegals, both published with Emond.
