Betina Appel Kuzmarov
Betina Appel Kuzmarov, B.A., LL.B., LL.M., Ph.D., has been teaching at Carleton University since 2006. She is based in the Department of Law and Legal Studies and is also the Clerk of the Senate for the University. Previously, Betina was the Associate Dean (Students and Enrolment) in the Faculty of Public Affairs. She is a member of the Bar of Ontario, and earned an LL.M. from McGill University and a Ph.D. from the University of Hull in the U.K. Betina recently published Unilateral Acts: A History of Legal Doctrine (Routledge, 2018) and she currently holds an Insight Development Grant (together with Professor Deidre Butler, Carleton (Religion)) for a project researching Jewish Divorce in Canada.
