Danny C. Grandilli

Danny C. Grandilli, B.A., J.D., is a partner at McCarthy Tétrault. His practice focuses on many areas of commercial real estate, including retail and commercial leasing, acquisitions, real property components of mergers and acquisitions, sale and leaseback transactions, and financing transactions on behalf of corporate borrowers and financial institutions. In recent years, Danny has concentrated a significant portion of his practice on serving the pension fund community and has been engaged by several pension funds – large and small – as well as pension fund managers in acquisitions, dispositions, joint-venture arrangements and for asset management advice. With more than 30 years of experience in the fields of commercial real estate and private equity transactions, he has been co-author of this book since its sixth edition. Mr. Grandilli has been listed in the 2015-2019 editions of Chambers Global: The World's Leading Lawyers and Chambers Canada in the area of real estate law. He also appears in the most recent edition of the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in the areas of property development, and is also listed as a pre-eminent practitioner in Euromoney Legal Media Group's Guide to the World's Leading Real Estate Lawyers.
