Debra Thompson

Debra Thompson received her PhD in political science at the University of Toronto before becoming a post-doctoral fellow with the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University. She is now an Associate Professor of Political Science at McGill University. Her primary research interests are racial and ethnic politics, Canadian politics, and American political development. In 2022, she published The Long Road Home: On Blackness and Belonging.
