Jacqueline Asselin
Jacqueline Asselin was called to the Ontario Bar in 1979 after completing her LL. B and Bachelor of Administration at the University of Ottawa. She opened her own law firm and practiced in Ottawa under the firm name J. Asselin & Assoc. until 2009. Her principal areas of practice were residential real estate, family law, wills and estates. She started teaching at Algonquin College in 2001 and was a full-time faculty member from 2003 until 2017 in the Law Clerk and Paralegal programs. She currently sits as a member of the Committee of Adjustment for McNab/Braeside Township, is President of Renfrew District 21’s Retired Teachers of Ontario and past chair of Arnprior Regional Health Foundation. She manages Tallyho Inc., a corporation that helps students meet their educational goals.
