Jane Bailey
Jane Bailey, BAS (Hons) (Trent), MIR (Queens), LL.B. (Queens), LL.M. (Toronto) is a full-time professor at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, where she teaches contracts, technoprudence, civil procedure, and cyberfeminism. Professor Bailey specializes in issues relating to law, technology and access to justice. Among her visiting professorships, she has taught at Hong Kong University and at the Universidad de Puerto Rico. She is a team leader on the SSHRC funded project Towards Cyberjustice: Rethinking Processual Law, which is exploring the capacity of technology to improve access to justice and a co-leader of the multi-year eQuality Project, which is examining the relationship between online behavioural targeting, discrimination, and online harassment among youth.
