Joanna Radbord

Joanna Radbord LSM is a partner with Martha McCarthy & Company LLP. For the past 20 years, she has worked to advance substantive equality through litigation, intervention, law reform, and education. Joanna has been honoured with the Canadian Bar Association Hero Award, a Lexpert Zenith Award, and the Law Society Medal for her contributions in the areas of LGBTQ2+ rights, family law, constitutional and human rights. Joanna has worked on precedent-setting cases at all levels of court, has spearheaded major legislative changes, and has regularly been invited to share her expertise with government, judges, lawyers, community groups, and academic audiences.
