John C. Kleefeld

John Kleefeld is Associate Professor of Law at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, a member of the British Columbia and Saskatchewan bars, and an experienced mediator. He has written leading articles at the intersection of several areas, including law and apology, law and humanities, and class actions as a form of alternative dispute resolution. His article “Write Me a Memo” (2010) has been used widely in legal writing courses. Kleefeld has taught across Canada and in Europe and has received various teaching awards, including the 2015 Brightspace Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning.
