Laura Salsbury-Norman
Laura Salsbury-Norman has been involved in law enforcement since 1992, beginning her career with the CBSA as a Senior Customs Officer working at the busy Lansdowne port of entry in Ontario, performing various duties and stints in the marine, commercial, and traffic units. During this stage of her career Laura started her journey in adult education as an instructor for the CBSA, teaching and training new recruits and students. After nine years as a full-time officer Laura moved into the college realm, teaching in the Law and Security Administration Program and the Police Foundations Program at St. Lawrence College, Kingston, where she continues to teach. Laura has both instructed and coordinated and has been a full-time professor for over 20 years, where her passion has always been career preparation and recruitment strategies for her students. She has a four-year degree in criminology from Carleton University and completed post-graduate studies for the Immigration Practitioner Diploma: Laws, Policies, and Procedures. Laura currently holds her licence in Immigration Consulting, and she practices immigration law at Salsbury Immigration Consulting Services as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, and is an active member of the ICCRC.
