Lia Moody

Lia Moody is an employment and human rights lawyer based out of Vancouver, BC. After graduating with her LLB from the University of Victoria, Lia fine-tuned her litigation skills at the largest insurance defence firm in Canada, where she quickly learned that she wished to connect with and serve her clients in an area of the law that makes a real difference to the quality of their lives—their employment. With this in mind, Lia joined Samfiru Tumarkin LLP as an associate in Ontario, representing both employees and employers with respect to wrongful dismissal, harassment, human rights, employment contracts, and policies.

Since then, Lia has re-located back to British Columbia, where she now practises as the Managing Partner of Samfiru Tumarkin LLP’s Vancouver office. Lia has taken full advantage of all that the province has to offer, whether that be snowboarding after work or hiking Quarry Rock on the weekends with her one-year-old daughter.
