Mary Jane Mossman
Mary Jane Mossman is Professor of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. She teaches subjects in Property Law and Family Law, and researches in these areas as well as in relation to access to justice, gender and the law, and the history of women in the legal profession. She was Director of Osgoode's Institute for Feminist Legal Studies 2002-2010. Professor Mossman holds an Hons BA from McGill, an LLB from Queens, an LLM from the University of London and an Hon LLD from the Law Society of Upper Canada. She has received several teaching awards, including the CALT Award of Excellence, and has been selected for research funding by SSHRC and several other research fellowships. Professor Mossman has also been a Visiting Professor at a number of other law faculties, including Columbia University in New York, Kobe University in Japan, the ANU College of Law in Australia, and the Universite d'Aix-Marseilles in France.
