Nathan Gorham
A member of the Ontario and New Brunswick Bars, Nathan Gorham regularly acts as counsel in drug-related trials and appeals. He has appeared on cases involving drug offences before all levels of court in Ontario and New Brunswick, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.
Nathan was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004, after graduating from the Queen’s University, Faculty of Law with the highest overall standing in criminal law courses. He practised with Pinkofskys Criminal Trial and Appeal lawyers from 2004 until 2010, when he helped found Rusonik, O’Connor, Robbins, Ross, Gorham & Angelini LLP. In 2015, Nathan obtained his master of laws from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where he continues to study as a doctoral candidate. That same year, he was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar. In 2019, Mr. Gorham founded the law firm Gorham Vandebeek with his partner, and co-author of this book, Breana Vandebeek.
Nathan is also a part-time professor at the University of New Brunswick, Faculty of Law. His writing has been published in peer-reviewed journals as well as national newspapers. He regularly speaks at academic and professional conferences.
