Philip Sworden

Philip Sworden, BA, MA, LLB, PhD, was a professor in the Business School at Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Toronto and a former coordinator of Humber’s Paralegal Education Diploma Program. He was instrumental in the development of Humber’s Bachelor of Applied Arts (Paralegal Studies) degree program and he co-designed its four-year curriculum. During his teaching career, Philip taught at McMaster University, Osgoode Hall Law School, Nipissing University, and Laurentian University. He was a co-recipient of the College Innovation of the Year Award and a recipient of Humber College’s Distinguished Faculty Award.
