Shane Ellis
Shane A Ellis has worked as general counsel, corporate secretary, and vice president of legal affairs for publicly listed and private corporations in the life sciences, aviation, renewable energy, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, and financial sectors. He has operated a successful legal practice in Toronto and taught at Seneca College, Humber College, and Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). Shane is currently a professor at Georgian College where he is the coordinator for the paralegal program, teaches law courses in the School of Business and Management, and is a member of the Research Ethics Board for the college.
Shane received a BA from York University, a JD/LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School, and an LLM from the University of Toronto. He has a certificate in mediation and took courses at the Hague Academy of International Law at the International Court of Justice (Netherlands). He is a member of the Bar of Ontario, the Law Society of Ontario, and the ADR Institute of Ontario.
